Your SPRING GIVING donation will provide a  SUMMER ARTS “DUNK” SCHOLARSHIP of a $25.00 gift for youth 6-16 years old. Your “ARTS DUNK” scholarship is tax-deductible.
 
We are very glad you have chosen the Arts Council of Louisville, Inc. as your charity and thank you for making it possible for a youth to participate in a week of arts education and fun. Last year 215 youth benefited from the “Sankofa” arts education traveling van around town. Our youth programs are held at local neighborhood centers and churches. Activities include: Music, Storytelling, Theatre Arts, West African Dance, Drumming and Songs, and cultural arts discussions for understanding and building lasting friendships.
  
The programs and services of the Arts Council of Louisville, Inc. are funded in part by Metro Government; Metro Council Districts: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 15; Republic Bank; Kentucky Foundation for Women, Inc; University of Louisville College of Arts and Sciences; Spalding University; Duplicator Sales and Service, Inc; Leapfrog Interactive; Gordon Communications; Primo Graphics; WLOU AM & FM 104.7; Systolic Radio Station; board volunteers; artists and individual donors.
  
The goal of our 501 (c)3 arts organization is to “Touch, Teach and Reach youth through the arts for academic excellence.” We envision arts for everyone, everyday and everywhere because we believe that where there’s art, there’s life. The Arts Council of Louisville is your One Stop Arts Marketplace and Resource Center that is available to all cultures and populations.
