Welcome to the Arts Council of Louisville, Inc.!

ARTS COUNCIL OF LOUISVILLE is currently accepting nominations for its 2009 Community Arts Awards. Submit a nomination for a local artist or arts group for this award online or by mail. All arts groups or artists can send in their own nomination application or have one sent by another person.

The 2009 Community Arts Awards are open to all ages and disciplines, i.e., music, drumming, dance, theatre, multi-media, visual and performance arts, photography, literary, poetry, spoken word, sculpture, puppetry, singers and all others. There is no fee to submit your nomination. Awards will be presented on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the River Bend Winery, 120 South 10th Street. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m.

The program will feature artists: KASI & Friends; JAZZ POET MIKE "B," Heaven and Earth 360, Poet REAL and DJ Rodney Johnson along with a reception immediately following. Pre-Holiday ARTS and Hospitality "ON BROADWAY" PARTY. You are invited to join us for an evening of enjoyment. LIVE ENTERTAINMENT featuring Louisville's Jazz, rhythm and blues vocalist, Paula Yarborough with music by Rodney Johnson, Getright Productions.
